Time Capsule Burial

On Wednesday 30th June, Miss Porter buried a time capsule in the school ground with the help of our school council reps, ECO Committee members and our Chair of Governors. The time capsule was full of items that represented how our lives have been changed by the COVID-19 pandemic and to recognise the fact that we have all helped to make history that children in the future will learn about. Each class contributed one or two items to the time capsule including: artwork celebrating the NHS, a sound button with the sound of applause to represent clapping for the NHS, face masks, an illustrated story of humans fighting coronavirus, some poems and many more amazing ideas. The time capsule will be dug up in 25 years time for staff and children at Almond Hill to see. A massive thank you to everyone who contributed to the event!
