Year 4 were incredibly lucky to have Stevenage Sporting Futures visit us this week. They came to talk about mental wellbeing.

We learnt about what a balanced diet looks like and how this can impact our wellbeing. We even got to try some fruit and vegetables as we learnt that our tastes change as we grow up - we might like things now that we didn't used to like! We got active doing star jumps and high knees whilst learning about the positive impact that movement and exercise have on our wellbeing. We also spent some time thinking about our body image including listing things that we like about our bodies and learning that we shouldn't compare ourselves to others. Lastly, we were reminded to drink 2 litres of water a day and were very grateful to receive a free water bottle to help us reach our goal!
