Year 3 had a fantastic time learning all about recycling this week. We took part in an interactive workshop where we discovered what happens to our rubbish once it is thrown away. The children were amazed to learn that many items of clothing – including our school fleeces – can be made from recycled plastic!

Year 3 shared some excellent ideas about how we, as a school, can reduce, reuse and recycle our waste. We also discussed the impact that rubbish can have on global warming, helping the children to understand why caring for our environment is so important.
