Before half term we held our second outdoor classroom event. Every class across the school teamed up with their buddy class from another year group and went outside to complete a mapping task for a Geography task together and investigate seed dispersal for Science.  

Walking around the school, it was an absolute delight to see all the children working together and having fun while learning! It's been great to observe the soggy socks hanging up too and wait patiently for any growth.  Spending some time out in our outdoor environment is a lovely opportunity to connect with nature and reap the benefits of being outside rather than learning in the classroom. We look forward to holding more of these events in the future!  A huge thank you to all the staff that helped make the event a wonderful success.
