It was great to meet with Chi Ming Lai, from the Hertfordshire Active and Safer Travel Team. Chi visited us to teach us all about the different types of crossings and to help us think carefully about how we can stay safe when travelling. The children learned that it is important to take time and pay attention whenever we are crossing a road. Most importantly, we must always Stop, Look, Listen and Think! 

The children enjoyed taking part in the activities and asked many great questions. The activities gave everyone the opportunity to discuss safe choices and consider what they should do when approaching different types of crossings. 

A big thank you to Chi for sharing this important advice and helping us to develop our road-safety awareness. We will remember the key message and use it whenever we are out and about.
