Year 4 trip to Woodhall Estate

To encourage a love of learning outdoors we have arranged a trip to the Woodhall Estate, where children can participate in several different outdoor activities. Countryside Learning, a national educational charity established in 1986, is focused on providing a variety of outdoor educational opportunities designed to connect children with the countryside in a fun and practical way. Research shows outdoor learning benefits a child’s mental and physical wellbeing.

Our visit is booked for Wednesday 24th May. We will leave school at 9am and return before the end of the school day.  Children will need to bring a packed lunch and a drink. If your child is entitled to free school meals and you wish to order one for the trip, please inform the school office by Friday 19th May.

We do need to ask for a contribution of £12.35 per child to cover the cost of transport. Parents who are owed £11 refund from the cancelled Shepreth trip will have this deducted from the total.

Please give your consent for your child to attend this trip on School Gateway.
