Year 5 Trip to Leslie Sell
Year 5 went to Leslie Sell Activity Centre on Monday 19th and had a fantastic day! The children took part in various different group activities including spider web (where the children had to figure out how to climb through the maze of ropes blindfolded without touching them), giant’s finger (which involved climbing on crates to stack tyres onto a pole in the quickest time possible), archery tag, slingshot and toxic waste. The day was finished off with some team races and a mass game of hide and seek in the woods. We’re proud to say that the children represented Almond Hill really well. Here is what the children had to say:
“My favourite was archery tag. I’ve never done archery before so it was a bit tricky but it was really fun!”
“I loved the whole day- even the coach journey!”
“I really liked giant’s finger because it was fun trying to beat the times of the other groups!”
“I really want to go again!”
