Our Year 6 football team put in an excellent performance in their latest match, coming away with a fantastic 5–1 victory. The team started strongly with Tommy opening the scoring after a great assist from Joseph. The pressure continued and the second goal came from Jack, with the ball taking a deflection into the net for an own goal. Tommy then added his second goal of the game to make it 3–0. Knebworth managed to pull one back before Stanley restored the lead further with a brilliant goal, assisted by Jack, making the score 4–1 at half time. In the second half, Idris added the fifth and final goal to complete a superb team performance. Well done to all of the players for their teamwork, effort and sportsmanship throughout the match.
