On Monday, some of our Year 4 children took part in a golf event at Stevenage Golf Club. The children worked their way around different activities which tested their putting and chipping skills. Throughout the event, they showed great honesty, enthusiasm and teamwork, encouraging each other and trying their best at every activity. 

After all the scores had been added up, we were so pleased to find out that we had finished in 2nd place out of the 12 teams taking part!! This is a fantastic achievement, especially as for some of the children, it was their first time playing golf competitively.  

A big shout out to Sadie for helping others with her growing knowledge of the sport! She made sure everyone felt encouraged, showing just how passionate she is about golf. Watch out for her in the Masters one day!
