All Voices Should be Equal

Last week, children in the upper school took part in some learning titled 'All Voices Should Be Equal'. They learnt about marginalised groups who haven't had their voices heard equally and specifically focused on learning about racial inequality (including The British Empire and The Slave Trade), gender inequality (where they learnt some shocking facts about how females are treated compared to males and about The Suffragettes) and inequality for people with disabilities (including how 'normal' places can have lots of barriers). The children then created a piece of work displaying what they've learnt.
