Over the Spring, the following themed events have taken place: 

Year 3 - Fruits where the children learnt the name of 10 fruits in French, played snap and dressed as a banana. 

Year 4 - Vegetables where the children learnt the name of 10 vegetables in French, played snap and dressed as a broccoli. 

Year 5 - Had a French cafe experience, where they learnt how to say "I would like." and please and thank you. The children had the opportunity to role play and order a snack and drink. 

Our Year 6s have recently taken part in their French themed event: 

Year 6 - Healthy Lifestyles experience took place where the children had the opportunity to enjoy a mixed fruit cup including mango, orange, apple, banana and grapes as a healthy snack and also enjoyed some croissants and pain au chocolat. The children learnt how to say I eat or I drink and several different foods and drinks in French. 

These events are a great way to promote our French lessons and create lasting memories for the children. We hope they enjoyed it as much as Madame Pridmore.
