Year 3 Celtic Harmony

Year 3 absolutely loved their recent trip to Celtic Harmony Camp! The children engaged in a variety of exciting activities that brought history to life. They tried their hand at Stone Age spear hunting and gathering which was both fun and educational. A highlight of the day was watching a fire demonstration using authentic Stone Age tools, followed by a captivating story told inside a traditional roundhouse.

The adventure continued as the children explored a cave replica, where they marvelled at ancient cave paintings. To top it all off, they enjoyed a delightful picnic in the sun, creating wonderful memories together.

The grounds were beautiful and the staff were incredibly welcoming, making the experience even more special. Our pupils represented Almond Hill with pride and left with a wealth of knowledge about the Stone and Iron Ages. What a fantastic day of learning and exploration!
